Julie Mattson

Julie Mattson has been a Registered Nurse since 1995. Forensic Nursing, as a specialty, did not exist when she graduated from nursing school, therefore, she initially pursued all areas of hospital nursing including, but not limited to, Medical Surgical units, Neonatal Intensive Care, Postpartum, Oncology, etc. She spent years working in telephone triage and Home Health and found Forensic Nursing while working in the Emergency Room in Denton, Texas.
